Northumberland 2009

The children in years 5 and 6 enjoyed an excellent- and sunny- weekend in Northumberland. We had a fantastic time with lots of funny incidents and we also learnt lots about the Romans, castles and Grace Darling.

What a fantastic weekend! The children were all well behaved and had a great time. They were a pleasure to take out. The weather was also very kind to us. All the year 5s are already talking about Derbyshire!

Well where I begin because this trip took my breath away. First glimpse of excitement was at beamish where we actually went down the old mine. But the sand dumes where miles better. Nathan as he is took the sand out of his shoes and it was enough to build a sand castle. And the 'Tacky Gift Shop' was one to beat. I hope to go again some day and looking forward to Derbyshire 2010! Thanks Mr. J
