Pet Respect 2010

We were once again delighted to welcome Kim, Marina and Jess to our school where they taught the year 4 children many things about how to look after their pets. The children had a great time and, importantly, learned many lessons about pets and how they should be treated.

Let us know how you enjoyed the experience!

Dig For Victory

The children in years 3 and 4 gave a fantastic performance of Dig For Victory, a story of the events of World War 2. There was a mixture of songs, laughter - and some serious bits.

Let us have your comments.

End of Year Disco

We all had a fabulous time when Sam brought his disco system in and ran a disco for all the children. Lots of music, dancing and hot dogs!

The Pirate Queen

The Drama Club gave a fantastic performance of The Pirate Queen to the school and then, on the evening, all their parents and friends. They did really well and everyone seemed to enjoy it. A special congratulations to those who were speaking on stage for the first time.

National Fishing Heritage Centre

Year 4 had an extremely enjoyable trip to the National Fishing Heritage Centre in Grimsby. They had been learning all about the Cod Wars as part of their 'Viewpoints' topic. They had also been learning about life as a trawlerman and about the fishing communities. It was a fantastic day where we learnt a lot about fishing. The children's behaviour was excellent and they were a real credit to the school and their parents.

Rock Challenge 2010

Well done to all children who took part in Rock Challenge 2010. We are very pleased to say that we came second! Well done again!
